So Easter was good.

Except for “I see you in the system with your booking number, but you don’t have a ticket. You need to call the travel agency because there’s nothing I can do..” on a Saturday morning at the airport trying to check in. Then there was the phone call to the travel agency’s “hot line” where some dude had no idea what to do, cause he saw me on the booking, but, again, I didn’t have a ticket. He said he needed to make another call and would call me back in 5-10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes before I called back with no answer. Luckily my brother travels a lot through his job with the same agency and called the “big business more important hot line”. Got an answer immediately, but it was a new lady who claimed she was there all alone, so I’m guessing the other guy finished his shift and went home..?! Anyway, I have to watch nine of my family members and friends leave me at the airport so they won’t lose their plane while I’m still on the phone with this lady. Eventually I get booked on another flight, but have to wait six hours alone at the airport. Luckily it’s one of Norwegian’s new Dreamliners that fly directly from Oslo to Orlando, and I get there three hours ahead of the others! :p Waiting sucks though.. 🙁

We stayed in Orlando for a week. Some of us visited the Disney parks, others did other fun stuff like visiting the Kennedy Space Center to witness the launch of a GPS satellite. The other week was spent on Royal Caribbean’s MS Allure of the Seas cruising the Caribbean. Pretty alright if I must say. Highlight was probably the Magens Bay on St. Thomas and celebrating my cousin’s 40th birthday on Mahu beach on St. Maarten watching the planes fly over our heads!
