I’ve been neglecting this blog for a few months now as I’ve been busy with work and life in general. But here’s a little bit of what happened this summer.

I photographed at Oslo Pride this year as I did last year, only to be interrupted by the very rainbow friendly festival Tons of Rock where I was also photographing. I covered a bunch of talks in the “Pride House” on Monday during Pride Week, but the lighting was completely wack inside most of the rooms, so I won’t show any of those except the featured image with the emotional panel discussion about the shootings two years ago that killed two and injured many more (and is one of the reasons I decided to be a good ally and do these things as I have gay friends).

On Tuesday, I photographed Oslo Pride Business Forum which is where all the top politicians and business people gather. Seeing photos of the lunch from last made me want to cover this event this year. Also the fact that it was evenly, although very dark, lit the entire time, so little need for much editing.

We got a welcomed boost of energy with drag artist Salty after lunch to prepare us for a few more hours of talks. I was surprised of the good lighting in that small basement stage for these kind of shows.
